We’ve been travel blogging since 2017 on our main German travel blog (Globusgeflüster), have visited over 30 countries, and really love exploring new countries. But we also love Switzerland. Since 2017 we call this beautiful country our home and we want to share our knowledge with you.
We are both from Germany and wanted a change in our lives. Since it was a very good professional fit, we moved to Switzerland quite quickly.
We have already lived in three different cantons. First in Zug, then in Zurich, and now we’re living in Glarus.
Why did we move to the more rural Glarus when we had Zurich close by? We love the mountains and since we can work from home a lot, it was more important for us to be close to nature.
We have been exploring our new home regularly since 2017. When the European summer vacations start, we prefer to stay in Switzerland and discover new hikes.
Although we have already visited all 26 cantons and hiked a lot, our bucket list for Switzerland is still very, very long!
Having lived and explored Switzerland for so long, we can give you a local’s perspective of the area.
From waterfalls to lakes to hiking and everything in between, we are sure Switzerland will enchant you.
Why Do We Blog?
Switzerland is one of the most beautiful countries in Europe, if not in the world. However, it also has a reputation for being very expensive – and rightly so. A trip to Switzerland does not come cheap.
That’s why we want to help you get the most out of your trip. We’ll also give you a few money-saving tips here and there, so you don’t have to declare personal bankruptcy after your trip.
